Americana / Country Style

Classical domestic architecture followed the principals found in the 18th and 19th century pattern books. Typically the facades are harmonious, balanced and symmetrical. Columned porches, pedimented facades, and tall, well-proportioned windows are aligned in regular bays resulting in a gracious and formal feel. Greek Revival accents such as entry frames and fanlight transoms were thoughtfully applied to the facades.
