French Country Style

This style was introduced in the 1920s and 30s by Americans who served during the World War. Stucco, steep roofs, and rustic wood accents, define the French Country Style. Solid wood front doors are usually set into arched openings and exterior shutters are applied to casement windows. Stone, iron balconies and dormers give this style added charm and character.
